Job summary

Aurorium, a leading materials innovation partner, is hiring a Chemical Operator for our Greensboro facility. The role focuses on batch processing, operating chemical equipment, and maintaining safe, accurate production records.

Responsibilities include following safety policies, assisting other production areas, and ensuring quality with detailed data documentation. Candidates should have 1–3 years in chemical manufacturing and be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years’ experience in a Chemical manufacturing plant or related industry required.
• Experience wearing PPE including safety glasses, hard hat, steel toe shoes, gloves, and a respirator.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform strenuous, repetitive physical work.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Performs batch processing and overall chemical manufacturing for the Greensboro site.
• Ensures workplace safety by following site safety policies and procedures.
• Operates chemical equipment such as reactors, pumps, stills, centrifuges, and dryers with proficiency.
• Weighs, measures, blends, and checks liquids and chemicals to ensure correct batches.
• Maintains shift records and supports SAP transactions for operating duties.
