Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Matches loading schedule to bill of lading.
• Weighs railcar/truck prior to product transfer.
• Fills out loading record.
• Ensures that truck/railcar is positioned and secured at proper loading rack.
• Visually inspects the railcar or truck to be involved in the upcoming transfer to ensure mechanical soundness and no defective equipment.
• Wears all PPE including respirator and fresh air equipment as required.
• Connects loading hoses.
• Loads railcar/truck according to loading instructions using gauges, loading meters, or weight.
• Checks weight after loading to ensure gross weight complies with regulations.
• Communicates with facility supervisor on any problems.
• Disconnects loading arm/hose, inspects for leaks, and completes paperwork.
• Operates trac-mobile to move and position railcars.
• Regularly cleans and maintains work areas.
• Operates forklift and other equipment if qualified.
• Completes regular safety checks on machinery and equipment.
• Completes LMS training modules.
• Collects and submits daily reports and paperwork to the Board Operator.
• Performs any other duties needed to complete the job.
