Job summary

Hydrite is seeking engineering interns for Summer 2027 to gain hands-on experience on real projects. You will work under the Plant Manager’s guidance and contribute to capital projects, SOP updates, and process improvements while developing technical skills.

The internship runs May/June 2027 through August/September 2027 and offers professional development, networking, and potential full-time opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in accredited university pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (mechanical or chemical preferred).
• Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project and PowerPoint.
• Good presentation skills; leadership potential for project roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical analysis for projects as assigned.
• Assist in implementation of capital projects and maintenance activities.
• Develop, review, and update SOPs to align with current practices and regulatory requirements.
• Support plant operations by assisting in troubleshooting, process optimization, and documentation of system workflows.
• Perform engineering clerical duties as assigned.
• Investigate, evaluate and implement process-related cost saving improvements.
