Job summary

Hydrite Chemical Co. is offering a Chemical Engineering Internship for Summer 2027 in Visalia, CA. The role provides hands-on project experience, with opportunities for full-time positions after graduation.

Qualifications

Enrollment in accredited university pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Chemical).
Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Microsoft PowerPoint (or equivalent).
Demonstrated leadership skills preferred; may lead installation crews on capital projects.

Responsibilities

Provide technical analysis for projects as assigned.
Assist in implementation of capital projects and maintenance activities as appropriate.
Develop, review, and update SOPs to align with current operations and regulatory requirements.
Support plant operations by troubleshooting, process optimization, and documentation of system workflows.
Perform engineering clerical duties as assigned.
Identify and implement process-related cost-saving improvements (e.g., waste reduction, cycle-time reduction).
Identify and implement cycle-time improvements and energy/sustainability opportunities.
