Job summary

Arkema invites engineering-minded students to join our onsite internship program across U.S. facilities. The intern will gain hands-on experience in chemical manufacturing, work on multidisciplinary projects, and develop skills in P&IDs, engineering calculations, and safety culture.

Presentations to site leadership cap the program with a summary of learnings. The role emphasizes collaborative problem solving, data analysis, and proactive communication while supporting ongoing site initiatives

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Successfully completed at least 2 years of degree program.
Strong preference for 3.0 GPA or above.

Responsibilities

Participate in process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and quality.
Collaborate with production, maintenance, and safety teams to resolve technical issues.
Conduct research and analysis to evaluate new technologies and process improvements.
Prepare reports and presentations on projects and process improvements.
Assist engineering teams with project related needs.
Understand, support, and comply with all plant safety policies and procedures.
Other duties in support of manufacturing operations and processes to enhance learning.
