Job summary

Jacobs is seeking Process/Chemical Engineering Interns to join our Advanced Facilities teams in Pittsburgh, PA. You will support engineers on critical projects, contribute to PFDs, P&IDs, and equipment specs, and gain experience with software like PipeFlo, AFT Fathom, and SmartPlant.

You’ll work under expert mentorship, develop flow diagrams, perform sizing calculations, and help ensure designs meet codes and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Previous relevant internship or project experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing process designs and flow diagrams under mentorship.
• Support creation of PFDs and P&IDs and equipment specifications.
• Perform sizing calculations for pipe and equipment and contribute to process specifications.
• Gain exposure to project coordination and engineering software while delivering high-quality work.
