Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a Senior Process Safety Management Engineer to lead and guide the Process Safety Management program. Job description

Duties:

  1. Carry out testing on materials to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
  2. Serve as a senior process safety management engineer, providing policy, guidance, and technical direction for the Process Safety Management program.
  3. Implement and sustain the elements of the Process Safety Management program, including hazard analysis, pre-safety start-up reviews, risk acceptance, management of change, preventive maintenance, and process audits.
  4. Provide advice or guidance on technical matters related to explosives/ordnance safety requirements.
  5. Serve as the technical expert for hazard analyses related to critical chemical processes and ordnance manufacturing, as well as occupational safety.
  6. Review facility and equipment drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams, process flow diagrams, and other process information for compliance with explosive safety and process safety management requirements.
  7. Design, modify, or construct workplaces, processes, or products to minimize or eliminate explosives safety hazards and threats.
  8. Conduct process audits to ensure manufacturing equipment and processes comply with process safety management requirements.

Additional Information: Travel may be required throughout the US and internationally for consulting purposes.
