Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies is a full-service surface finishing company supporting the aerospace, defense, space, and satellite sectors. The technician role focuses on ensuring smooth production flow in chemical processing lines at one of several US sites.

Responsibilities include tank processing, time calculations, rinsing and bathing parts, paperwork, and assisting line staff to maximize throughput while maintaining safety and compliance with waste disposal rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Manual dexterity and attention to detail.

• Evaluate and log all preventative maintenance on processing line.
• Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly.
• Other duties as assigned.

With ten strategically located sites across the United States, Valence provides a start to finish solution from NDT and chemical processing, to paint and sub-assembly.

Position Summary

Responsible for ensuring that the production process is run in a smooth and rapid manner.

• Process parts in chemical tanks according to specifications, work order and other requirements.
• Calculates the appropriate amount of time needed to process parts.
• Removes parts from tank after specified time, rinses parts and immerse them in bath before finishing processing.
• Completes paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous experience a plus, preferably in the aerospace industry.
• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
