Position Summary

To prepare and cook food for patients, employee cafeteria, community meals, and catering. To provide functional supervision to staff in the preparation of food items when required.

Education

• High school diploma.
• Two to four years in an accredited course in Quantity Food Preparation.
• ServSafe certification.

Experience

Three years of institutional or similar quantity cooking experience.

Skills

• Demonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Good communication and interaction skills.
• Ability to perform work accurately and pay attention to details.
• Ability to function competently and maintain composure during stressful situations and changing work environment related to changing Department needs.
