Job summary

Langham Los Angeles is recruiting a Sous Chef Tournant to join the Executive Kitchen team. You will provide flexible culinary leadership across all resort outlets and contribute to menu development, costing, and R&D for high-volume dining experiences.

The role reports to the Executive Chef and requires 5–7 years of progressive culinary experience in luxury hospitality, with strong leadership and financial acumen. Evening and weekend shifts are expected as part of a luxury resort operation.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of progressive culinary experience in luxury hotels or high-volume outlets.
• Leadership experience in roles such as Sous Chef or Executive Sous Chef.
• Strong knowledge of food cost, menu costing, purchasing, inventory and labor management.

Responsibilities

• Provide flexible culinary leadership across all resort outlets and culinary operations.
• Step into leadership roles during high-volume periods and staff gaps; mentor and train culinary teams.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, sanitation, and organization.
• Assist in training, coaching, and development of culinary team members.
