• Must have 3 years of cooking experience in a professional kitchen.
• Knowledge of 5 basic sauce groups, soup preparations, and banquet production.
• Must be able to work in a hot environment and manage food costs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food production meets Executive Chef specifications for quality, presentation, sanitation and cost control.
• Supervise kitchen staff to maintain high sanitation and safety standards.
• Oversee inventory, payroll accuracy, and scheduling in the absence of the Executive Chef.
• Direct daily activities of kitchen personnel to ensure timely food service and proper safety practices.
