Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is launching a 6-month Chef Manager In-Training program to cultivate future leaders for our high-volume dining services across our assisted living and memory care communities.

You’ll receive hands-on shadowing, structured mentorship, and a comprehensive skills checklist, with opportunities to advance to a Chef Manager role upon successful completion and company needs.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ideal candidates have 2 years food service experience, preferably al‑la‑carte or banquet service.
• Interest in working with older population.
• Experience with food service POS systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.
• Willing to relocate after training for first Chef Manager assignment.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on Rotational Training with mentorship in all aspects of the Food Service Program.
• Regular mentorship, feedback sessions, and progress reporting to support growth.
• Potential promotion to Chef Manager after successful program completion and needs.
