Job summary

Belmont Village Senior Living is launching a 6-month Chef Manager In-Training (CMIT) program in San Diego. This immersive experience provides the skills and knowledge to excel as a Senior Living Chef Manager/Executive Chef and grow through a structured rotation, mentorship, and hands-on experience.

You will be guided by a preceptor and program administrator and prepared for Chef Manager roles across our communities, with opportunities for leadership development and advancement.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
• Ideal candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of food service experience, preferably in al-la-carte or banquet service.

Responsibilities

• Participate in 6-month CMIT program with shadowing by a Chef Manager.
• Develop leadership skills and learn to manage high-volume dining service.
• Prepare for Chef Manager roles with mentorship and evaluations.
