Flik Hospitality Group in the Washington, DC area is seeking a growth-minded Chef Manager to lead the culinary and food service operation for our contract dining program. In this role you will drive quality, safety and service while mentoring a diverse kitchen team.

Responsibilities include full culinary management, inventory control, vendor relations, menu development and cost controls with a focus on local sourcing.

Qualifications

• Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice or related settings.
• Working knowledge of HACCP.
• Experience with P&L accountability and contract-managed service.
• Knowledge of food trends, quality, and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Full culinary management of food service operation including inventory and purchasing.
• Develop menus, control costs and source locally where possible.
• Maintain sustainability and food quality standards.
• Ensure high standards of sanitation and safety.
