Job Summary

Kick your culinary career into high gear with Eurest. We are seeking a growth minded Chef Manager for our corporate dining account. This is a busy manufacturing facility operating multiple shifts per day and our Chef Manager leads the breakfast / lunch cafe dining operations, ensuring that grab and go meals are stocked for nights & weekend operations. Please note, this Chef Manager must be flexible to meet scheduling & staffing needs - typical work week will include a weekend day shift (Sun thru Thurs / Tues thru Sat).

Key Responsibilities :

• Full culinary management of food service operation to include inventory, ordering and receiving
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable
• Proficient in menu development, cost controls, purchasing and inventory with a focus on sourcing and utilizing local food products
• Partners with the client to deliver quality on site catered events, as demanded by the operation
• Possesses a passion for sustainability and quality ingredients

Preferred Qualifications :

• Must have a working knowledge of HACCP
• Three years of culinary management experience in contract foodservice, fine dining setting, or restaurant with inventory and purchasing knowledge and control
• Extensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation
• Knowledge of P&L accountability and contract-managed service experience is desirable; must be systems savvy and comfortable utilizing technology on a daily basis
