Job summary

VK Capital Ventures Inc. is seeking Chef Instructors in Houston to lead hands-on cooking classes, workforce-readiness sessions, and farm-to-table dinners during the Fall 2026 season. Instructors will work as working chefs, guiding guests through menus throughout service.

Responsibilities include teaching scheduled classes, leading dinners, and coordinating with event contacts. Houston-based applicants with food-handling certification or willingness to obtain one are preferred; evenings and

Qualifications

Professional cooking experience; teaching, training, or demo experience a strong plus.
Comfortable leading a room of adult learners while you cook.
Houston-based; reliable transportation to class and event locations across Houston.
Food handler certification (or willingness to obtain before your first class).

Responsibilities

Teach scheduled cooking classes and workforce-readiness sessions.
Lead Friday farm-to-table dinners, teaching the menu to guests.
Cook for and instruct at private chef dinners and group experiences.
Set up/breakdown your station and maintain food-safety standards for yourself and students.
Coordinate with the event contact on timing, headcounts, and menu needs for each shift.
