Job summary

Nirvana Spa is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our busy kitchen team at West Court Retreat. You will prepare and plate dishes to the highest standards, ensuring quality and hygiene in line with the menu and guest expectations.

Reporting to the Sous Chef, you will mentor junior staff, assist with menu planning, and contribute to a seamless dining experience across our spa and retreat operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Strong knowledge of food preparation and presentation techniques.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time efficiently.
• Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
• High standards of cleanliness and food safety.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present food to the highest standards.
• Manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring efficient operation.
• Monitor stock levels and assist with ordering and stock rotation.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Support junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
• Train, mentor, and motivate junior kitchen staff to ensure their development.
• Work closely with the Sous Chef to plan menus and ensure consistency.
