Job summary

Hyatt Place Amsterdam Airport is seeking a Chef de Partie to join the international Kitchen Team. You will prepare meals across breakfast, lunch, and dinner shifts and support senior chefs in menu development and daily operations.

You should have a culinary program background, English proficiency, and 2 years experience as Demi-Chef de Partie or Chef de Partie. The role offers a competitive Dutch Horeca CAO salary, with room for growth and development.

Qualifications

• You have an European passport or a Dutch work permit.
• You are fluent in English.
• You are flexible working different shifts (morning and evening).
• You are passionate about hospitality.
• You have 2 years work experience as Demi-Chef de Partie or you already have experience as Chef de Partie.
• You are open minded and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast/lunch/dinner as part of the Kitchen Team.
• Create remarkable culinary experiences in Food & Beverage outlets; restaurants and meeting areas.
• Support the Commis de Cuisine and Demi Chef de Partie.
• Assist Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef with menu creation.
• Take ownership of kitchen operations in the absence of Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef.

• You assist the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chef with creating the menus;
• You take ownership of the efficient running of the kitchen in the absence of Chef de Cuisine or Sous Chef.
