PS is a luxury hospitality company that builds and operates private terminals for commercial flights. Currently, PS operates at Los Angeles International Airport and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, with new terminals under development at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport and Miami International Airport. The Role: Chef de Cuisine - PS ATL

The Chef de Cuisine oversees daily kitchen operations, ensuring culinary excellence, consistency, and efficiency. This leadership role involves working closely with the Corporate Chef to foster a culture of integrity, creativity, and collaboration, emphasizing quality, safety, and guest satisfaction. The position reports directly to the Corporate Chef of PS.

Responsibilities & Expectations

  • Assuming all responsibilities of the Corporate Chef when absent, including managing the chef team and staff, staffing, equipment, and operational issues.
  • Creating, implementing, and communicating policies and procedures.
  • Setting project agendas and timelines.
  • Leading R&D, menu development, and weekly specials.
  • Managing kitchen documentation, vendor relationships, and maintenance communications.
  • Delegating prep tasks, assisting with prep schedules, and expediting food flow.
  • Ordering inventory, collaborating on specials, managing inventory counts, and conducting line checks and staff meetings daily.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in a professional kitchen, preferably fine dining.
  • Degree or diploma from an accredited culinary or hospitality program preferred; high school diploma or GED required.
  • Exceptional cooking skills with strong leadership and management experience.
  • Passion for cooking, creativity, and craftsmanship.
  • Experience managing high-volume kitchens, ideally in fine dining or concept-driven restaurants.
  • Punctual, dependable, respectful of policies, and a positive role model.
  • Alignment with PS core values and ability to motivate and lead staff.
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and early/late shifts.
  • Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check, including SSN collection. Authorized to work in the US.

Compensation range: $75,000 - $90,000 annually (dependent on experience). This is a full-time, exempt role.
