About The Role

The Chef de Cuisine - Curveball Kitchen is an entry-level culinary supervisor responsible for assisting in daily kitchen operations, including menu planning, inventory, staff training, and ensuring food quality standards. This hands-on role involves working closely with line cooks and developing the culinary team.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Assist in achieving financial goals
  • Complete paperwork accurately and on time
  • Oversee food presentation and portioning according to standards
  • Coordinate with outlets to ensure quality and consistency
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Promote employee empowerment
  • Report unsafe conditions
  • Select daily specials based on trends
  • Train, supervise, develop, discipline, and counsel staff
  • Perform cross-training as needed
  • Manage purchasing for quality and quantity
  • Ensure sanitation and food safety compliance
  • Perform duties of any supervised position
  • Train staff on menus, recipes, and standards
What You Bring To The Role
  • High School diploma required; culinary certifications preferred
  • 3+ years in culinary leadership, including 2+ in a full-service hotel or resort
