Job summary

Eataly Dallas is seeking a Cheesemonger to join our cheese department, home to 500+ cheeses sourced locally and internationally. You will assist guests with selections, weigh and package products, and keep displays tidy and accurately priced.

You will share cheese knowledge, rotate stock per FIFO, and help maintain a welcoming counter. Weekend availability, basic math and communication skills are required; ability to lift and stand for long periods is expected.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Basic knife skills.
• Knowledge of cheese highly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists guests with cheese selection and shares knowledge of products.
• Weighs, labels and packages products and completes food preparation in a timely manner.
• Ensures counter and display refrigerators neatly and accurately as per the pricing menu.
• Informs management when food quantities or supplies are low.
• Merchandizes displays attractively and rotates products per FIFO standards.
• Cleans work station thoroughly.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.
