Fresh Thyme Market is seeking a Cheesemonger to be the in-store expert in our Cheese Shoppe, educating customers with product knowledge and delivering exceptional service. You will cut, wrap, label, and stock items, while ensuring freshness and accurate displays.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail experience, preferably working with cheese.
• Knowledge and passion for cheese, brands, varieties, pairing, textures, origins, tastes.

Responsibilities

• Assist and educate customers in the Cheese Shoppe with product knowledge and friendly service.
• Handle cheese cutting, wrapping, labeling, and stock rotation following guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of display cases and work areas.
• Ensure health department standards for food handling are met.
• Support scheduling, training, and coaching within the department.
