Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of retail experience, preferably with cheese.
• Culinary/cheese knowledge or continued cheese/culinary education a plus.

Responsibilities

• Extensive knowledge of natural cheeses; proper handling during cutting and wrapping, labeling, rotation and stocking.
• Offers positive information to customers regarding product attributes, uses, and serving suggestions; cross-departmental sales.
• Receives and inspects shipments for accuracy and shelf life; watches for short-life or damaged goods; checks shipment temperature.
