Job summary

Hilmar Cheese Company is seeking a Tower Operator to run and maintain cheese towers and related equipment. The role requires operating procedures, ensuring product safety and quality, and active participation in training and safety programs.

The position offers 12-hour shifts with possible weekends and overtime, and requires English proficiency, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 60 lbs. SAP and dairy manufacturing background are preferred.

Qualifications

• English proficiency in reading, writing and speaking.
• Must be able to work 12-hour variable shifts, including weekends and overtime.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• SAP experience and dairy manufacturing background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain cheese towers and related equipment.
• Identify flows from HCVs to packaging and complete product transitions.
• Troubleshoot plant equipment and communicate issues.
• Maintain operation and sanitation of equipment including CIP and COP.
• Handle in-process sampling and report safety or quality issues.
• Participate in training, coaching teammates, and safety practices.
