Job summary

Wegmans in the Cheese Shop is hiring a team member to educate customers about cheeses and pairings, curate displays, and ensure the best selection is available all day. You will greet guests, take orders, package products, and keep shelves stocked while delivering outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Collective customer service experience, internally and/or externally, preferably in a food service or retail setting.
• Work environment: medium physical demands; walking and standing for long periods, repetitive hand and arm movements, and occasional heavy lifting.

Responsibilities

• Provide incredible service by proactively approaching customers and answering questions.
• Take orders, package product, and keep shelves stocked throughout the day.
• Consistently grow product knowledge and stay up-to-date on new and featured items.
• May unload daily deliveries and stock cases, displays and backroom coolers with new and existing products.
