Job summary

Niemann Foods / Harvest Market is seeking a Cheese Specialist to deliver excellent customer service and become the department expert in cheese, pairings, and accoutrements. You will assist shoppers in selecting options, rotate stock, and maintain quality standards.

You will ensure health code compliance, support merchandising and sampling, and participate in daily operations while upholding Niemann Harvest Market culture.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Excellent guest service and ability to follow health and safety guidelines.
• Familiar with product rotation, merchandising, and cashierless checkout procedures.

Responsibilities

• Delivers superior guest service and ensures customer satisfaction.
• Learns and uses the three E's: Engagement, Educate, Empowerment.
• Becomes the cheese expert for product knowledge, pairings, and accoutrements.
• Assists customers in selecting cheese options for their needs.

• Performs daily stocking, inventory, and cleanliness tasks.
• Promotes sales and provides samples to customers.
• Follows all health and safety guidelines and store policies.
