Job summary

Grande Cheese Company in Fond du Lac, WI is seeking a Conversion Generalist I to prepare, package, and inspect cheese products in a fast-paced facility. You will load cheese onto production lines, run quality checks, monitor automated equipment, and complete production documentation.

Assignments may include vacuum packing, salting, peeling packaging, or tying products as needed. The role emphasizes sanitation, accurate labeling, and issue identification across the department, with room to grow

Qualifications

• High School or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months or more of related work experience and/or training in a food manufacturing industry strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load cheese onto production lines and perform packaging tasks.
• Perform quality checks and monitor automated equipment.
• Complete accurate production and regulatory documentation.
• Assist in department-specific tasks (dice/shred, aged, vacuum packing, salting, peeling packaging, tying product).
• Maintain sanitation, ensure labeling and coding accuracy, and identify equipment or product issues.
