Job summary

Grande Cheese is seeking a Conversion Generalist I to prepare, package, and inspect cheese products in a fast-paced facility. You will load cheese onto production lines, perform quality checks, monitor automated equipment, and document production and regulatory data.

Associates will be assigned a department at hire (e.g., dice/shred, aged) and may vacuum pack, salt, peel packaging, or tie product as required.

Qualifications

• High School or GED preferred.
• Three (3) months or more of related work experience in a food manufacturing industry strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load cheese onto production lines and prepare products.
• Perform quality checks and monitor automated equipment.
• Complete accurate production and regulatory documentation.
• Assist in vacuum packing, salting, peeling packaging, or tying product as required.
• Maintain sanitation standards and ensure proper labeling and coding.
• Identify product or equipment issues and provide cross-department support.
