Leprino Foods in Waverly seeks a Cheese Team Lead to ensure SOPs, GMPs and safe work practices are followed across the Cheese Department. You will oversee production from Milk Receiving through Bulk Pack, mentor staff, and optimize equipment performance in a 24/7 facility.

The role requires leadership experience in manufacturing, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with overtime as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Must have leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar manufacturing systems is preferred.
• Experience in a fast-paced cheese production environment is desirable.
• Willingness to work 24/7 shift patterns and overtime as needed.

Aufgaben

• Train employees on SOPs, GMPs and safety practices.
• Interpret production data and make informed production decisions.
• Know all cheese department functions and lead by example.
• Perform hourly walkthroughs to verify temperatures and calibrations.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure continuous operation.
