Job summary

Leprino Foods Company in Lemoore, CA is seeking a Cheese Maintenance Planner/Group Leader to organize preventive maintenance, scheduling, and help lead the cheese maintenance team in a high-volume dairy plant.

You will use Maximo or SAP PM to maximize wrench time, coordinate with Production, Sanitation, Quality, and Engineering, and take on group-leader responsibilities when needed. This role requires strong planning, safety focus, and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing (food/dairy preferred).
At least 1 year in planning, scheduling or formal leadership.
Strong knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on process equipment.
Ability to read blueprints, P&IDs and technical drawings.
Welding skills preferred; forklift operation capability.
Proven CMMS proficiency; Maximo strongly preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and email.

Responsibilities

Plan, schedule, and prioritize preventive and corrective work using Maximo (or SAP PM).
Ensure parts, materials, tools, and contractor support are available before work.
Develop weekly/daily maintenance schedules with Production, Sanitation, Quality and Engineering.
Monitor work order completion, analyze schedule compliance, and improve PM effectiveness.
Prioritize work with Safety First (LOTO, GMP/HACCP) and regulatory requirements.
Lead maintenance crew and coordinate with external contractors for seamless execution.
Provide guidance on job planning, packages, and safe work practices.
