Job summary

dfa is hiring for a production operator in Pennsylvania. The role involves loading cheese on lift tables, inspecting products, and keeping the conveyor stocked for high-volume production.

You will assist with changeovers, ensure line cleanliness, and follow strict GMP and safety guidelines. The job requires knowledge of cheese types, reading and speaking English, and the ability to work a 3pm-1am shift with a starting wage of $21.41 per hour plus a $2.00 second shift differential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• Knowledge of different cheese types.

Responsibilities

• Operate stacker jack to load lift tables with cheese.
• Inspect cheese before loading on conveyor to avoid wrappers.
• Keep conveyor loaded; process up to 70,000 pounds per shift.
• Notify supervisor when ingredients are in question.
• Follow production lists and keep area clean and safe.
• Assist with machine changeovers and washes.
• Follow GMPs and safety procedures.
