Job summary

Saputo Inc. is seeking team members to support our manufacturing operations in the United States. The role focuses on preparing cheese for bagging, bagging, and handling brine-related activities in a fast-paced production environment.

Employees are expected to follow safety procedures, operate packaging equipment, check codes and labels, palletize products, and participate in cleaning and sanitation tasks to maintain product quality and food safety.

Qualifications

• Must work in a safe manner and follow all safety procedures including the use of safety equipment.
• Must be able to work in physical environment as described in “Work Environment” section below.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all bulk cheese for bagging.
• Bag all cheese, smoke cheese as called for on a daily production plan.
• Work in Brine area as assigned.
• Ensure correct vat is being released.
• Responsible for ensuring brine paperwork is filled out accurately.
• Pack cheese into boxes and bulk totes.
• Make boxes.
• Load cheese into packaging machine.
• Check packages for correct code dates and labels.
• Palletize all products.
• Clean and sanitize all equipment and rooms.
• Learn operation of the robots, make adjustments as needed.
• Setup case erector and top sealer for boxes.
