Job summary

Saputo Inc. is seeking a warehouse associate in Wisconsin to handle inbound/outbound shipments, operate ride-on pallet jacks, and maintain accurate inventory. The role emphasizes safety, GMP compliance, and teamwork in a fast-paced dairy environment.

The position involves heavy lifting, working in cold environments, and standing/walking throughout shifts. Starting wage is $27.14 per hour, with opportunities for development and benefits as part of Saputo’s commitment to employees and communities.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Enter and exit equipment to select items and quantities from warehouse locations using ride-on pallet jacks and RF devices.
• Complete outbound orders and transfers following shipping instructions, pallet type, slipsheet and temperature recording, and inventory grouping.
• Palletize and secure products for transport; ensure product integrity and accurate order fulfillment.
• Shrink wrap pallets and affix pallet tags/placards.
• Rotate inventory and maintain accurate inventories and records.
• Perform daily Powered Industrial Truck inspections and report safety concerns.
• Follow GMPs, Saputo food safety and regulatory requirements; report hazards.
• Attend required trainings, shift meetings, and committees.

How you will make contributions that matter:

• Enters and exits equipment to manually select the correct items and correct quantity from warehouse pick locations using ride-on double pallet jacks and Radio Frequency devices, location barcodes, case labels and work orders.
• Completes all outbound orders, including customer orders and intra company stock transfers, in accordance with outlined shipping instructions such as correct pallet type, slipsheet and temperature recording device usage, minimum shelf-life requirement, TixHi and item grouping.
• Palletizes and builds stable and transport ready pallets of various dairy products, ensuring product integrity, accuracy and damage free order fulfillment.
• Securely shrink wraps each pallet of product along with affixing proper pallet tags and/or placards.
• Rotates inventory and maintains accurate inventories and required inventory records.
• Completes daily Powered Industrial Truck Inspection, ensuring safe operation and reporting any concerns to maintenance personnel or shift supervisor.
• Understands and follows Good Manufacturing Practices, Saputo's food safety, quality programs and regulatory requirements.
• Promptly reports all potential quality, food safety, and workplace safety hazards to management team.
• Attends and participates in all required training, shift meetings and committees.

• Are able to work confidently in a fast-paced environment
• Are able to meet physical demands required for the position (stand, walk, bend, stoop and climb; able to lift up to 50 pounds;
• Able to work in cold environments and around moving equipment; good visual acuity with ability to distinguish colors
• Able to operate material handling equipment

Position Abilities And Physical Requirements

• Ability to work in warehouse environment which includes but is not limited to: noise, cold temperatures, standing/walking/bending/stooping/climbing stairs, maneuvering around material handling equipment consistently throughout the shift.
• Physical lifting up to 50-lbs unassisted continuously throughout the shift.
• Wearing personal protective equipment and following all established procedures.
• Good visual acuity with the ability to distinguish colors. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Fine manipulation and hand dexterity, including ability to grip and squeeze; handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms
• Must be able to work overtime on a daily and/or weekly basis.
