Job summary

Agropur Cooperative is seeking a Cheese Packager II to operate packaging and casing equipment, ensure safe and sanitary operations, and monitor quality across the packaging lines. The role emphasizes adherence to GMP, HACCP, and SOPs in a fast-paced dairy environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness of packaging areas, assisting with mold changes, and supporting safety and sanitation programs.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, understand, and adhere to documents and procedures (GLP, SOP, SDS, GMP, test procedures, and HACCP).
• Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Basic computer operational skills; input and retrieve information.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging and casing.
• Safe operation, sanitation, and maintenance of equipment.
• Monitor the complete process for safety, efficiency, and quality.
• Maintain the packaging room, casing room, brine room and dry storage in a clean and sanitary fashion.
• Adhere to quality system requirements and SOPs.
