Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Package cheese products safely and efficiently according to GMP and safety practices.
• Rotate duties within the packaging department.
• Maintain knowledge of the cheese production processes.
• Ensure correct packaging, labeling, dates, and vat numbers.
• Complete and pass on paperwork to the cheese supervisor promptly.
• Conduct quality checks such as scale tests and metal detector checks.
• Maintain sanitation of packaging room equipment and conveyors.
• Assist in preventative maintenance of packaging equipment.
• Coordinate cooler organization and upkeep.
• Safely operate a forklift.
