Job summary

Glanbia Nutritionals, Inc. is seeking a Production Team Leader to oversee tower operations and ensure the area is properly sanitized, contributing to efficient cheese production.

The role requires ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and food safety standards, while coordinating cart flow, sanitation tasks, and equipment operation. Team leadership and weekend/overtime availability are expected.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable and trustworthy.
• Must be accurate in taking samples and performing tests.
• Ability to operate (or learn to operate) necessary equipment.
• Excellent record in safety, attendance, and punctuality.
• Ability to stand and walk the entire shift.
• Ability to read and write instructions in English.
• Must be able to work weekends, and overtime as required.
• Knowledge of the proper use of all cleaning chemicals.
• Cannot have any lifting restrictions.
• Get along and work well with people.

Responsibilities

• Prepare carts to receive cheese
• Keep cheese liners stocked ready to use
• Assist in fetching and sanitizing of press plates
• Remove full carts and prepare for sealing
• Monitor cart return to ensure adequate supply of carts
• Make CIP connections in tower mezzanine
• Complies with safety and health standards and regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned
