Champaign Unit 4 Schools seeks a Cheerleading Team Assistant Coach for Centennial High School for the 2026-2027 season.

This differential position requires IHSA coaching certification or an Illinois Professional Educator License, strong coaching knowledge, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and travel with the team.

Compensation

• This is a Differential position. The differential pay scale can be found in the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the Champaign Federation of Teachers, which is available on our website. Coaches with 5+ years of experience are compensated at a higher rate than those with more limited experience. Employment as a coach is on an at-will basis.

• The season for this sport typically runs from mid-August through early-February. The exact dates are determined based on IHSA rules and the schedule for State events. More detailed questions regarding the schedule can be directed to the Athletic Director at the school.
