Lowe's Companies, Inc. in North Carolina is hiring a cashier to provide a quick, friendly checkout experience and help customers get the best value for their money. You may assist with payments, exchanges, and self-checkout, while also helping with stocking and other duties as needed.

You’ll work in a fast-paced store environment, interacting with customers and teammates to ensure satisfaction and smooth store operations. Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing and basic arithmetic.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting and retrieving data.
• Lift up to 15 lbs with/without accommodation as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges.
• Answer customer questions and resolve simple issues.
• Maintain a clean, safe workstation and support other duties as assigned.
