Job summary

Lowe’s is looking for a cashier to ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience and assist customers with payments, exchanges, and questions. You’ll support other departments as needed and help keep shelves stocked in a fast-paced store environment.

The role emphasizes customer service, accuracy, and teamwork, with a focus on creating a positive shopping experience for every guest in our Georgia stores.

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Ability to stand and sit for prolonged periods of time.
• Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• Minimally lift 10lbs unassisted or over 15lbs with or without accommodation.
• Obtain sales-related licensure or registration if required by law in your state.
• Retail and/or customer service experience is preferred.
• Bilingual skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a fast, friendly, and professional checkout experience.
• Proactively assist customers in the self-checkout area.
• Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently.
• Manage a cash register, payments, and exchanges.
• Answer customer questions.
• Help maintain a clean, safe workstation.
• Complete other duties as assigned
