Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Front-End Team Member to help deliver a smooth checkout experience for customers. You’ll handle transactions, assist with bagging, and keep the checkout area clean and organized during busy shifts.

Requirements include being 16+ (18+ where required), completing cashier/front-end training on hire, basic math and communication skills, and a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior customer service is a plus.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older (or 18 years of age or older, depending on local/state requirements)
• Completion of company cashier or front-end training upon hire
• Basic math and communication skills required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Prior customer service experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Create a smooth checkout experience, including processing purchases and assisting customers
• Maintain an organized, clean checkout area and restock as needed
• Assist with bagging, cart retrieval, stocking, and front-end upkeep
• Follow store policies and checkout procedures throughout shifts
• Adapt to changing tasks and customer flow while staying productive
