Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Minnesota is hiring a Warehouse Checker/Loader IV to join its safety-focused warehouse team.

The role loads and secures products, uses powered equipment, and ensures quality before loading. Starting at 5:30 AM Monday through Friday, with a $23.75 per hour base pay plus a $1.00 perishable premium, you’ll gain medical/dental/vision, life insurance, vacation time, sick leave accrual, and paid holidays after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and understand English for work instructions and safety protocols.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections to ensure product quality.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure products in trailers safely.
• Operate by hand or powered equipment as required.
• Maintain quality control for non-conveyable items before loading.
• Report any product integrity concerns to a supervisor.
• Communicate special circumstances to the delivery driver via the Shipping Loading Report.
• Keep work area clean and debris-free.
• Follow safety practices to prevent injuries and damage.

Pay Rate: $23.75 per hour + $1.00 Perishable Premium.

What you’ll do as a Warehouse Checker/Loader IV:

• Load and secure products in trailers in a safe manner.
• Job duties will be completed by hand or by use of powered equipment.
• Maintain quality control for Non conveyable products prior to loading.
• Bring any concerns about product integrity to a supervisor's attention.
• Communicate any special circumstances to the delivery driver via the Shipping Loading Report.
• Maintain a clean, debris-free work area.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications you’ll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
