Job Overview

Providing excellent customer service and maintaining outstanding service standards while processing sales quickly, accurately, and efficiently. Operating the cash register and safeguarding company assets under the supervision of the Front End Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently.
• Operate the cash register and handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions.
• Maintain company cash handling policies and procedures.
• Safeguard company assets and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Provide outstanding customer service to all shoppers.
• Stand, bend, stoop, and kneel for prolonged periods as required.
• Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 45 pounds frequently, and up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, and short correspondence.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information effectively to customers, clients, and coworkers in one‑on‑one and small group settings.
• Apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills (preferred).
• Retail management certification (preferred).
