Job summary

Fiesta Mart in Houston is seeking a Checker for Store 014 near Bellaire/Hwy 6. You’ll support the front-end team, process sales, and maintain a fast, accurate checkout while helping customers with a friendly attitude.

The role requires bilingual communication (Spanish/English) and the ability to lift moderate weights. The environment is a busy grocery store with emphasis on service and efficiency.

Qualifications

The Opportunity

Under direct supervision of the Front End Supervisor, the Checker is responsible for maintaining outstanding customer service as per company standards, processing sales quickly, accurately and efficiently, performing cash register operations and safeguarding company assets. Must be able to bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods of times.
The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
