EverTrue is seeking a dedicated Chauffeur, Non-DOT, to transport residents in a community setting and assist with social activities. The role involves safe driving of community vans/buses up to 15 passengers, aiding residents with boarding, seating, and mobility aids, and coordinating transportation for events and appointments.

Responsibilities include maintaining vehicle condition, following safety protocols, and providing excellent customer service to residents.

Formación

• Must have a Driver’s License for transporting 15 or fewer passengers in applicable states.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Experience as a bus/van driver preferred.
• Ability to interact kindly with residents and handle challenging situations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide high level of customer service while transporting residents to activities, appointments and outings.
• Assist residents with boarding/alighting, seat belts, walkers, wheelchairs, groceries and packages.
• Coordinate transportation for events and activities with Lifestyle Enrichment Director or Service Coordinator.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic preventative maintenance and fueling.

Provides a high level of customer service while transporting residents to and from activities, appointments and other outings; Provides assistance to residents to include boarding and leaving the bus, assistance with seat belts, walkers, securing wheelchairs, groceries and packages2. Assists the Lifestyle Enrichment Director or Service Coordinator by coordinating transportation for events, activities, appointments, etc.3. Responsible for general upkeep of the vehicle including: fueling vehicle and conducting preventative maintenance on vehicle to include oil level, tire pressure and delivering vehicle to authorized service facility; Keeps the vehicle clean4. Follows all safety procedures and protocol as dictated by EverTrue policy, federal and state regulations and standard practice; Reports all hazardous conditions, defective equipment and accidents or incidents to the supervisor immediately5.
