Job summary

Transport Enterprise Leasing (TEL) is seeking a dependable Lot Attendant in Chattanooga, TN to support daily movement, inspection, preparation, and release of trucks and trailers. You’ll work closely with the Yard Manager and help keep equipment and yard operations running smoothly, including documenting accuracy and safety checks.

The role requires reliability and a hands-on approach, with duties ranging from parking and inspection to assisting customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Comfort using databases and entering information accurately.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and park trucks and trailers as they arrive.
• Prepare sold/leased equipment for release to customers.
• Move trucks and trailers around the yard as needed.
• Ensure DOT documentation, tags, registration, and paperwork are current.
• Install unit numbers, tags, GPS devices and Fleet Locate devices.
• Assist customers inspecting equipment in the yard.
