Job summary

Horton Emergency Vehicles designs and builds ambulances for first responders, delivering tailored vehicles as part of Terex Corporation. The role supports the handling of chassis, suspension coordination, and certification processes on the production floor.

The position emphasizes working with minimal supervision, safety equipment, and strong English communication to ensure quality and efficiency in a manufacturing environment in Ohio.

Qualifications

• Valid Ohio driver's license.
• One year experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read simple instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the suspension programs to include Liquid Spring and Monroe Suspension programs.
• Coordinate all chassis modification duties working closely with Mounting Supervisor.
• Assist with welding certification program and conduct welding certification tests as requested.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
• Receive and inspect dealer supplied chassis.
• Key and vehicle assignment duties, and coordination of all chassis control functions.
• Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision.
