Job summary

Wastequip's Galbreath division in Winamac, IN is seeking a Prep Tech to perform prep work for the hoist mounting process and install components onto truck chassis. You will work with handheld plasma cutters, huck guns, torches, and air tools while reading tape measures and operating a forklift in a fast-paced production environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or technical degree with 1+ years of related experience; welding and math skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to understand and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Experienced in a fast-paced production environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review the truck chassis with the hoist model to plan installation steps.
• Installs some electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic components before mounting.
• Inspects work before moving to the next process.
• Operates plasma cutter, huck gun, torch, and air drills regularly.
• Operates a forklift to move components as needed.

**Job Description:*** Wastequip's Galbreath division has an immediate opportunity for a Prep Tech at their Winamac, IN manufacturing facility.
