Wastequip WRX's Galbreath division in Winamac, IN is hiring a Prep Tech to perform prep work for hoist mounting and install components onto truck chassis. You will review chassis plans and outline steps to complete installation, operate handheld plasma cutter, huck gun, torch and air tools, and move components with a forklift.

The role requires a high school diploma or technical degree, 1+ year related experience, basic welding and math skills, and the ability to read a tape measure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; technical degree preferred.
• 1+ year of related experience or training preferred.
• Experience with handheld plasma cutter, huck gun, torch, and air tools preferred.
• Basic welding and math skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Review the truck chassis with the hoist model and plan installation steps.
• Install some electric, pneumatic, and hydraulic components before mounting the chassis.
• Inspect work before moving to the next process step.
• Operate plasma, huck gun, torch, welder, air drill, and chain drill daily.
• Move components using a forklift as needed.
• Read a tape measure to ensure proper fit and alignment.

**Job Description:*** Wastequip's Galbreath division has an immediate opportunity for a Prep Tech at their Winamac, IN manufacturing facility.
