CSS is seeking a Chassis Mobile Mechanic to perform mechanical repairs and inspections in a depot/repair facility environment, with work in a shop setting and some mobile repairs.
You will troubleshoot, repair, and document chassis work, including brakes and wheel end components, in compliance with FMCSA standards. A valid CDL is required for mobile repairs and driving between locations.
The Chassis Mobile Mechanic will perform mechanical repairs and inspections in a depot/repair facility environment, repairs to be performed in a shop setting. The employee will perform all types of chassis repairs including brakes and wheel end repairs, welding, cutting with a torch and repairing and replacing parts on the chassis using standard repair tools. Repairs will be performed to FMCSA standards and completed based on written estimates.
