Job summary

Super Vac in Fort Collins, CO is seeking a Chassis/Mechanical Assembly Technician for our Trucks division to build and modify fire apparatus. You will read blueprints, operate shop tools, and work in a team to ensure quality assemblies.

This role requires lifting up to 100 pounds, forklift certification, and the ability to pass pre-employment screening. We offer a competitive hourly wage of $23-$26 DOE, full-time, Monday to Friday, with benefits including health, dental, 401k matching, tuition

Qualifications

• Knowledge of air brake and diesel motor operations.
• Ability to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
• Experience with MIG/TIG welding a plus; forklift cert preferred.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Repair and modification of fire truck chassis.
• Operate basic hand and power shop tools.
• Read and follow blueprints; read a tape measure accurately.
• Contribute in a fast-paced, team environment.
